Omnia recently hosted a private discussion on the intersection of energy, technology, national security, and AI with Partner and Executive Vice President at Omnia, Lawrence Muscant, Amir Fishelov, Co-Founder of SolarEdge and Managing Partner, Square One Labs, and Richard Goldberg, Senior Advisor, Foundation for Defense of Democracies.

The conversation examined the role of the National Energy Dominance Council in coordinating U.S. energy policy, the scale of power generation and transmission needed to support the growth of AI, and the potential for technologies such as nuclear and geothermal to help meet that demand.

The speakers also discussed Israel’s deep-tech ecosystem, opportunities for greater technology cooperation among the U.S. and its allies, and the barriers that could determine how quickly critical infrastructure gets built.

For investors, Fishelov and Goldberg offered a different way to frame the opportunity: Look beyond the companies and technologies attracting attention today and ask what infrastructure, technologies, and policy changes will be needed to make the next phase of growth possible.
