Consider the Source: Allocating During a Recession

In our recent episode of “Consider the Source,” Omnia Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer Michael Wagner discusses a couple of options to consider looking into if you’d like to feel more defensive when it comes to your portfolio in the event of a recession.

U.S. Treasuries

If you have assets available to invest, consider looking at what is available in the Treasury market. You may see some benefits in the short term with this low-risk asset.

Floating Rate Debt

Bond prices have an inverse relationship with interest rates. This means that when interest rates go up, bond prices go down. With the Fed recently raising interest rates, bonds may have a place in your portfolio.
