Lawrence Muscant

Executive Vice President

Lawrence Muscant currently serves as the Executive Vice President at Omnia Family Wealth. In this role, he advises Omnia and client families on global political and financial challenges that can have an impact on the families with whom we work. In addition, he is a strategic partner of growth strategy and helps to enhance the firm’s internal client service resources and culture.

Previously, Lawrence served as senior vice president at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, a Washington DC-based think tank that focuses on foreign policy and national security. As a member of FDD’s senior management team, Lawrence helped guide the organization’s overall strategy. Lawrence is also a geopolitical analyst & speechwriter, who lectures widely on global issues to audiences across the United States.

Lawrence received his BA in Political Science from Concordia University and graduated from its School of Community and Public Affairs. He earned his MA in Political Science from Carleton University, where his focus was international relations theory and the Middle East. Lawrence was a PhD candidate at Carleton, where his research focused on Political Economy & American foreign policy. Lawrence holds certificates and designations from the New York Institute of Finance & the Corporate Finance Institute where his studies focused on assessing risk, financial modeling, capital markets, portfolio management and valuation.
